The phrase 'Cheeky Monkey' isn't an endearing yet tongue-in-cheek phrase for nothing.
From my experience, there are five kinds of people, each governed by their own Monkey Archetype and individual set of corresponding energies / totems / elemental influences.
We all have a Monkey Archetype. Which ones describe your children? Which one describes you?
If we were to take the time to 'remember' these correspondences and influences, and embrace them (be they deemed positive or negative at first glance), we would have communities that worked in harmony, families overflowing with laughter, understanding, cooperation and love, and individuals who knew who they were, what their purpose was and how they might make the world a better place. We would have a united people. We would all be One - individuals working together, in support of one another, working toward realizing a joint goal by living interrelated lives. Life is a tapestry, and we are the individual threads. By working in chorus, we can easily untangle the ball of knots society has become to create something we can all be very proud of.
The Five Monkeys are:
- The Capuchin Monkey, totem of the Indigo / Warrior Child
- The Squirrel Monkey, totem of the Crystal / Nature Child
- The Colobus Monkey, totem of the Winter Child
- The Ring-tailed Lemur, totem of the Peacekeeper Child
- The Golden Lion Tamarin, totem of the Rainbow / Golden Child
